The following are post-configuration steps for eBS 12.1.3 VM appliance, when running especially running on ODA or OCI.
Update the stop scripts
/u01/install/PROD/scripts/stopproddb.sh to force a shutdown in immediate mode as follow. Not doing so may cause the VM not to stop immediately or hanging when requested to be stopped.
$ORACLE_HOME/appsutil/scripts/$CONTEXT_NAME/addbctl.sh stop immediate
